Cozy Cinnamon Date Latte

A naturally sweet latte made with dates, warm cinnamon, and creamy milk for a cozy afternoon pick-me-up or slow morning ritual.

Ingredients
1 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee
1 cup milk of choice (oat milk works beautifully)
2 Medjool dates, pitted
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of nutmeg
Pinch of sea salt

Optional toppings

Cinnamon dusting
Frothed milk
Honey drizzle
Instructions

1. Soften the dates
If your dates are firm, soak them in warm water for 5 minutes.

2. Blend
Add dates, milk, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, and sea salt to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.

3. Warm
Pour into a small saucepan and heat gently over medium-low heat until warm.

4. Finish
Pour coffee into your mug and top with the warm cinnamon date milk mixture. Stir and enjoy.

Optional iced version

Blend all ingredients with ice and cold brew for a refreshing afternoon drink.

Notes
Add collagen or protein powder for extra staying power.
Use decaf for an evening version.
Swap cinnamon for pumpkin spice in fall.
